Hola amigos! just an update on what´s going on here before I head out of Quito. This week went really well, and my spanish made MILES of progress in this incredible school we were in. I literally think I progressed about a semesters worth in 5 days. Amazing teacher, great practice, fantastic experience. And I´m really excited to use this newfound spanish fluency at my next stop!
In about oh, 20 minutes, we´re all piling into a bus to head 2.5 hrs up north to Otavalo. It´s a town of about 7000 people, with a famous market on saturdays of handmade wool goods. It´s way up in the mountains, so i´m psyched to be getting back to elevation. The group is splitting up for the next two weeks with half (including me) spending the next week in a school right outside of otavalo volunteering, planting a garden, and teaching the kids there english. the other half will be in otavalo, in another homestay in another school. the next week, we switch!
I´ll let you all know how it goes!

FUUUN!!! one of my favorite things about visiting France was going to a school and being able to talk to the kids. i'm sure you are having so much fun being able to teach them english!! in regards to your previous post, you literally made my mouth water as you shared your delicious ice cream story!! haha that is awesome! i miss you best buddy! love you! :)
